Jake Davis, a rising professional Polaroid photographer, hails from Maui, Hawai’i, and now creates in the vibrant Tampa Bay area. Fueled by a deep love for analog photography, Jake masterfully captures breathtaking images infused with the unique imperfections and charm of vintage film cameras.

His journey began in high school when a refurbished 1978 Polaroid SX-70 Sonar, a Christmas gift, sparked an enduring obsession with film. From that first click, Jake’s drive to chase the perfect shot—before the film pack runs dry—has only intensified. His current toolkit includes a MiNT-modified SX-70 Alpha for precise manual control, the advanced Polaroid I-2 instant camera with cutting-edge optics and Bluetooth controls, and the versatile SLR 680 with sonar autofocus and built-in flash, ideal for dynamic settings, group shots, and unpredictable conditions. With each frame, Jake blends nostalgia and innovation to craft unforgettable visuals.

In addition to film photography, Jake works with a mirrorless Sony Alpha A7IV camera on occasion, particularly for landscape shots or portrait work.
