Polaroid SLR 680
The OG. The 680 has been a staple to my Polaroid endeavors since I took the passion seriously in 2022. It was one of the first cameras I set out to find once I started making some money at my first job in Kahului; I found a semi-mint one on eBay that I sent over to Retrospekt for a full refurbishment and flash housing mod. Once I got it back, nothing has quite come close to it. I plan on modifying it soon to have an internal battery so it can take i-Type packs as well. Can’t beat a glass lens SLR!
MiNT SLR670-X (MING EDITION)
I quickly came to find that having a manually-controlled camera would be essential to creating some striking shots, so this led me to a wonderful company called MiNT. The 670-X looks pretty close to a standard SX-70, but with some modified components visually on the outside and internally on the PCB, you have new manual control for the shutter speed that allows some great magic to happen. Many of my favorite photos are on this camera!
Polaroid I-2
This was the first purpose-built i-Type camera I genuinely think I took seriously. (After the firmware update, of course.) LiDAR continuous autofocus on a 98mm 3 lens polycarbonate setup, manual aperture and shutter speed controls on device AND via Bluetooth, displays on the body and inside the viewfinder… heavy stuff, Polaroid. I wasn’t a fan at first, but I really settled in once I spent a few packs on it. My does-it-all camera.
